This pad is made using the original BASF open-cell melamine foam, laminated to nonwoven material made of 100% recycled polyester fibers. The melamine pad works miraculously to clean without removing the finish.

Directions for use:
The incredible cleaning properties of melamine foam create an unusually high level of friction when introduced to the hull. It is important to add water, a neutral cleaning solution or a degreaser to both the pad and to the surface in order to reduce friction upon startup. Avoid rough, uneven surfaces which can wear out pad quickly.
